who we are

nummm is a home-based bakery in Cairo, Egypt, selling handcrafted cookies directly to customers through this website. ordering from us means you accept these terms.

orders

placing an order on the site is a request, not a confirmed sale. we confirm every order by phone or whatsapp before we bake. if we cannot reach you, or we cannot fulfil the order, we will tell you and nothing is charged.

we bake a limited number of orders per day. once a day is full, the site will offer you the next available date.

prices and payment

all prices are in egyptian pounds and include the cost of the cookies only. delivery is charged separately and depends on the area you pick at checkout — the full amount is shown before you pay.

payment is by card or instapay — we do not accept cash on delivery. card payments are completed on a secure page hosted by our payment provider: we do not take card details on this website, and never ask for them by phone or message.

prices can change at any time, but the price you were shown when you ordered is the price you pay.

delivery and pickup

we deliver across Cairo & Giza through a courier service, and orders are placed for a delivery day and time window that you choose at checkout. the earliest available day is always the day after you order — we do not deliver same day.

time windows are our best estimate, not a guarantee. traffic and courier availability can move a delivery, and we will message you if that happens.

please make sure someone can receive the order at the address and window you chose. if nobody is there and we cannot reach you, the courier may return the order and we cannot rebake it free of charge.

bundles and free cookies

in a bundle, the free cookies are the most expensive ones in your selection. the discount applies to that bundle only and cannot be exchanged for cash.

food, allergens and storage

our kitchen handles gluten, dairy and nuts on shared equipment, so we cannot guarantee any cookie is free from traces. allergen information on each cookie is provided in good faith — if you have a severe allergy, message us before ordering.

cookies are best on the day they arrive. keep them in a sealed container at room temperature and eat within 3 days.

returns

returns, refunds and cancellations are covered in our returns & refunds policy.

your information

we collect only what we need to deliver your order: your name, phone number and address. we use it to confirm and deliver, and we share it with the courier for that purpose. we do not sell it to anyone. message us if you want your details removed from our records.

we also use standard advertising and measurement tools to see which of our ads lead to orders. these use cookies, and some customer information is shared with those providers in encrypted form for that purpose.
